Ray B. Dugas has
practiced painting, graphic design and illustration for more than 30
years. His illustration work has been published in Cooking
Light, New York, The Shareholder, and
Baptist Today magazines, The Best Fed Dog in
America cookbook, and the IBM Multi-media newsletter.
His painting work has been recognized by the Montgomery Art Guild as
the recipient of the ArtBeat.com award winner in 2000. His graphic
design work has also been published extensively in the Print
Regional Design Annual, The New American Logo Book and
Graphis magazine. He has illustrated posters for the
Atlanta Jazz Festival and the Decatur Arts Festival (Ga.).
He has executed numerous graphic design projects for clients
such as: The Space Power Institute and NASA, Canadian Occidental
Petroleum, Char-Broil, SportzBloc, Rock/Tenn Corp., K-Mart, John
Harland Co., Ralston Purina, Neenah Paper Co., and The Atlanta
Project for the Carter Center. In 1986 Mr. Dugas received the Tau
Sigma Delta Silver Medal for Design for distinguished merit in the
graphic arts. He also has received graphic design awards from the
Birmingham Art Directors? Club and the New Orleans Art Directors?
Club.
Mr. Dugas is currently a professor of Visual
Communications at Auburn University in Auburn, Ala.
